Strengthening the UK environmental movement by improving capabilities, growing confidence and building community.
Project Boost is a development programme designed to maximise the impact of those working to influence climate and environment policy and politics in Westminster and Whitehall.
Not only are we in a critical decade for action on the climate and nature crises, but we are also in a pivotal moment for the politics of the environment in this country. This parliament offers huge opportunities for progress and we will all need to evolve rapidly – sharing knowledge and insight – in order to help drive the most ambitious outcomes for all.
Impact
Project Boost will support and strengthen the UK environmental movement, enhancing its capabilities, building its confidence and nurturing its networks and connections. We will also work purposely to improve the diversity and inclusion of the sector.
The year-long programme will include a series of widely accessible learning sessions with a range of specialists, bespoke training and workshops, a 1 day conference, a reactive advice service and more.

Project team
Annabel is a Political Adviser at Green Alliance and the project lead for Project Boost, leading on project management, network development and building our political impact.
Nadia is a Political Adviser working to provide network support and support on the delivery of Project Boost and leading the political engagement of various projects across Green Alliance
Chris is Director of Politics at Green Alliance and has a history of delivering political impact. He is responsible for strategy and impact of Project Boost.
Beth is a movement strategy and development specialist who has worked with Green Alliance to design the Project Boost programme.
