Project Boost

Strengthening the UK environmental movement by improving capabilities, growing confidence and building community.

“We believe that giving a wider range of people access to insider knowledge of how things happen across Westminster and Whitehall, will help us really seize the moment for environmental politics.”

Chris Venables,
Director of Politics at Green Alliance

Project Boost is a development programme designed to maximise the impact of those working to influence climate and environment policy and politics in Westminster and Whitehall.

Not only are we in a critical decade for action on the climate and nature crises, but we are also in a pivotal moment for the politics of the environment in this country. This parliament offers huge opportunities for progress, but these will be contested and challenges lay ahead. We will all need to evolve rapidly – sharing knowledge and insight – in order to help drive the most ambitious outcomes for all.

Impact

Project Boost will support and strengthen the UK environmental movement, enhancing its capabilities, building its confidence and nurturing its networks and connections. We will also work purposely to improve the diversity and inclusion of the sector.

The year-long programme will include a series of widely accessible learning sessions with a range of specialists, bespoke training and workshops, a 1 day conference, a reactive advice service and more.

Are you facing a challenge that we might be able help with? Or perhaps you have insight you think others might find useful? Get in touch or sign up to get support or share your expertise.
